PS - Good Links and Resources:

ridl.com - This is poet Jack's Ridl's delightful website.  Jack is our dynamic, fun, brilliant Visiting Writer at Come Write with Me.  Sign up to receive notification when the site is updated. That way you'll receive notice of his poetry readings, his new publications (Losing Season is his newest - and its generating a lot of buzz and a number interviews! Check out interviews with NPR's Dick Gordon's The Story, Bill Littlefield's It's Only a Game.  And on Here and Now Littlefield named it a best book of 2009!)  You'll find details on other workshops he's offering as well as good resources, announcements of other poetry events (Like the Ridl Visiting Writer's Series at Hope College..  And by the way - Jack will be at University of Michigan's Bear River Writer's Conference this year, June 3-7.  Great setting, great Michigan writers leading and speaking.  Check it out at www.lsa.umich.edu/bearriver.)

heathersellers.com - author of Page after Page reviewed under good books.

WritersDigestBookClub.com – Heather Seller's publisher and great source for books on writing.

bonniejocampbell.com - Find a review of Bonnie Campbell's novel Q Road under good books.

practicing-writer.com - Great source for Erika Driefus' on-line newsletter about where to publish (I took note of her website when reading an article she wrote in Poet's and Writers about low residency MFA programs.). And she offers on-line courses as well. I've just finished "How to Write a Book Review" - which offers excellent advice and resources about writing book reviews for publication (and pay!). If you are interested here's the site for updates on courses: practicing-writing.blogspot.com
